Normal is Narcissistic
2 May 2025
It’s strange, how so many want to be normal.
Perhaps to fit in, perhaps to finally feel loved. What would it be like if that need weren’t there?
Normal is subtly using others for personal gain or comfort.
Normal is consuming the planet in pursuit of momentary sense pleasure.
Normal is blaming oneself or others for every emotion that arises.
Normal is a sense of deep shame for simply being.
Normal is medicating away real emotions that just want to be known.
Normal is continuously chasing something to fill the gaping hole that you continually look away from.
Normal is an irrational fear of death that drives selfish behaviour.
Normal is believing that everything is a reflection on me.
Normal is expecting others to behave a certain way, your way, and taking it as an attack if they don’t play your game.
Normal is subtly controlling others and limiting your own freedom as a result.
Normal is believing in hierarchy and status that exists nowhere but in a thought, and then chasing it.
Normal is running on a treadmill to nowhere.
Normal is trying to fit somebody else’s idea of how you should live, and ignoring yourself.
Normal is nowhere to be found, it’s nothing more than just your average idea of everyone around you.
Why do we want to be normal?
